1982 650 Maxim

Here are the pics......So far the bike is a little small for me. It is pretty fun to ride and does pretty good....had her up to about 75 yesterday. Didn't like the way the clutch felt so I have to adjust that yet. It could use a new seat, but I have not decided if I am going to keep it around.

Nice looking bike. Looks like an aftermarket exhaust system on that, maybe a MAC by the looks of it. Look forward to seeing it around next year.

It is too small for me so I "thought" the wife would ride it.....but of course it isn't good enough. So I am thinking about selling it to help fund another bike.

It looks to be a real nice solid bike, I don't think you will have any trouble selling it. Those little 650's get between 35-45mpg depending on driving conditions, and how you ride it. They have a nice smooth ride to them, the engines run good when the carbs are set right. The only downfall to them is the lack of parts that are available, but that's easy enough to overcome, just get a little crafty and eBay usually helps.
