Battery storage

Postby rdnkjeeper on Tue Dec 30, 2008 11:10 pm

Just wanted to see what everyone else uses when their bike is in storage. Right now I use a battery tender from Advanced on my Harley. But I was sitting here thinking about tending to all my batteries. I have 2 bikes and 2 four wheelers that are stored most of the winter.....so instead of buying 3 more tenders at approx 45 a piece I was thinking about getting one with four plugs. Is the Battery Tender the only company that makes one for four batteries? Where to get a deal on one?

Thanks

I just swap the trickle charger around on the machines through out the winter

I ended up picking up 3 more trickle chargers....19.88 each at Walmart. Figured this way all my stuff doesn't have to be that close together. If I want to leave two things at camp I can do that. At 19.88 that was the cheapest I was able to find them. They can only really do one battery at a time though.

Correction 19.44, have had the Harley hooked up all winter so far. Hooked up the one for the Yamaha, yup battery was dead. Gonna see what happens over night. Hooked one up on my four wheeler, was suprised that the four wheeler fired right up....but still hooked up the tender.
